ABOUT US
Fostering A Generation is more than an organization—it’s a movement of education, awareness, and action. Founded by social workers, educators, and advocates who have spent decades working with vulnerable youth, our mission is to engage entire communities in supporting children impacted by foster care, family instability, and systemic gaps.

We believe real change begins with understanding. That’s why we focus on educating schools, churches, families, and local organizations about the realities youth face and the role each of us can play in their growth.

From school presentations to community outreach, essential kits for displaced children, and mentorship programs, everything we do is centered around one belief:

Because every child deserves to be seen, supported, and surrounded by a community that cares. Fostering A Generation exists to break the silence around foster care and youth at risk—educating communities so they can rise up, step in, and make a lasting difference.

We believe that when a community understands the needs of its most vulnerable, it becomes empowered to act. Whether through housing, mentorship, advocacy, or everyday awareness, we are building bridges between people who care and the children who need them.

ACTIVE ALL
YEAR ROUND
We are active year-round, with our Annual Drive every May and ongoing community involvement, donation collection, volunteer activities, and awareness campaigns throughout the year.
​Currently, we are serving in the Madison County, Alabama, with plans to grow awareness and support throughout surrounding communities.
